Karl is the Chief Digital & Information Officer at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) of the Government of the United Kingdom. Karl has been a CIO or CTO since 2004, primarily in Government (CTO Department of Education, CIO Partnerships for Schools) and Charity / Social Impact (CIO Save the Children).
Karl is particularly interested in emerging technology and its application within organizations to support true transformation.
