About Michael
Michael’s background really spans the full evolution from the early Internet days to the current advent of Web3 technology.

In the early 1990s, Michael founded Marketwire (originally called Internet Wire), the first Internet-based press-release distribution network. Backed by Sequoia Capital and Hummer Winblad, Marketwire was sold in 2006 for $35 million and is currently one of the top three global company newswires.

In the mid 2000s, Michael founded SocialRadius, a full-service social media marketing agency. Success stories include the outreach for recording artist Will.i.am’s “Yes We Can” video for the Obama campaign, which won the 2008 Emmy, Global Media and Webby awards, as well as a 2009 Clio Gold Lion.

Michael joined the blockchain and cryptocurrency space in 2013, and is a well-known investor, advisor, network builder and event organizer.
